AA 3 STAR HIGHLY COMMENDED WINDERMERE B&B

With the three coveted AA yellow stars (Highly Commended for 2010/2011), St John's Lodge, Lake District, Windermere b&b, is in the top 10% for AA hotel, B&B, guest accommodations for this category in England. It has also received both the prestigious AA Egg Cup Award and the Visit England Award.  These awards recognise the outstanding quality and excellent selection of breakfasts.

Barry and Sue, who have owned St John's Lodge, Windermere bed and breakfast, for the past 13 years recognise the importance of offering a range of modern Lake District accommodation at extremely affordable prices.

Although housed in a traditional Lake District building (circa.1886) this Windermere Bed & Breakfast has a modern contemporary feel about it. With its neutral colour scheme complemented by splashes of colour from the original art works dotted around the place a calm atmosphere has been created.
